An Evening With Diane Von Furstenberg and Stefani Greenfield

WHO: More than 100 executives in fashion, retail, and related fields will attend An Evening with Diane von Furstenberg and Stefani Greenfield, presented by FIT's Executive Women in Fashion, an educational and networking program of the Fashion Institute of Technology.


WHAT: A talk by two leaders in the fields of design and retailing. Diane von Furstenberg arrived in the fashion world in 1972 with her iconic wrap dress, the start of what is today a full fashion house. Awarded the 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for her impact on fashion, she serves as CFDA president.


Stefani Greenfield opened the first Scoop store in New York City in 1996, pioneering the "one-stop shopping" concept. Scoop NYC, "The Ultimate Closet," was an immediate success and has evolved into a mini-fashion empire, including its own brand and online sales operation.
